What fire looks like on the Eastside
Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, Sammamish and Issaquah houses are large, with three-car garages, finished daylight basements, open plans that let smoke move freely, and a lot of square footage to clean. Garage fires from vehicles and chargers, dryer fires, kitchen fires in big open kitchens that smoke the whole main floor, and fireplace and chimney fires in the older Lake Hills and Somerset houses are the common losses.
